In this workshop we will explore how to use the foundational principles of our medicine in combination with science-based resilience principles to help patients:

  • Awaken the inherent wisdom of the body mind spirit
  • Develop effective strategies to break from maladaptive stress patterns
  • Move through times of uncertainty in dynamic balance with the environment, and effectively adapt to change and maintain equilibrium
  • Create a supporting community and help guide each other towards optimal wellness by sharing in the collective wisdom and energy of a small group
  • Learn healthy tips to support physical health, and emotional wellbeing based on the science of resilience
  • Apply Chinese medicine fundamental principles to empower your patients in creating balance, engaging in self-care, and develop their own personal road map to cultivate resilience during this time and beyond
  • Define and explain the concept of resilience and the key mediating / moderating factors of resilience
  • Create and deliver emotional wellness virtual community visit that work
  • Define and explain characteristics of effective group facilitation
  • Develop approaches to create a safe group environment, maximize team input, encourage desirable contributions and neutralize undesirable responses
  • Apply effective group facilitation skills
