Karen Sela will discuss the five most common cases a practitioner will see in their practice related to reproductive health.

A relevant case will be presented for each phase: Water - birth and precocious puberty; Wood - puberty, adolescence, a case of severe PMS; Fire – creation, fertility case; Earth - motherhood, family a post-partum depression case; and Metal – menopause. We will also revisit the idea of the Wu Lun and how their energetic influences are represented in our life phases and specifically in those of a woman. A representative and relevant case will be presented in detail, one for each phase.

Appropriate diagnostic key points, herbs, acupuncture, and dietary advice (when applicable) will be discussed and important practical application for each case will be emphasized. All cases will then be tied back to the concepts of the relevant phase. An example of this will be menopause and the phase of metal, revisiting our life and letting go of all things that no longer serve me.
