This is the 3rd edition of Debra Betts' comprehensive obstetrical acupuncture course.

Originally offered as "The Complete Pregnancy Course" through Pro D Legacy, this latest recording replaces "The A to Z Guide to Using Acupuncture in Pregnancy and Childbirth" so you have new content and updated content including more research to bring to your clinical practice.

This course offers acupuncturists an overview of key issues relating to the clinical practice of treating women in pregnancy and the postpartum. This includes western medical concepts imperative for safe practice as well as experienced treatment suggestions for difficult cases from experienced practitioners. This includes understanding the treatment of nausea, hyperemesis, threatened miscarriage pre-labour rupture of membranes, anxiety and depression and postpartum.

Case histories and group discussions will be used to generate discussion to assist practitioners to build their clinical confidence. Several scenarios for each session will be used to illustrate the realities of clinical practice, red flags that require attention and Chinese medicine considerations. Following an opportunity for participants to problem solve within a small group, Debra will lead a feedback session, followed by presenting treatment recommendations.
